Absolute Resonance

The Light of Authority had smashed apart three of the burning Devil Heads, and three people tumbled out before Li Luo. It was the trio that had been imprisoned—Pang Qianyuan, Lan Lingzi, and Li Qingying.    

Li Luo had intentionally targeted the three heads that were serving as cages.    

When they reappeared, their eyes were full of shock as they stared at the Empyrean Resonance Tree of Authority. They naturally understood what it represented.    

Supreme ninth-grade resonance!    

This was beyond rare.    

As far as they knew, only Heavenly Emperors possessed supreme ninth-grade resonances. Even experienced Triple Crowned Kings found it difficult to grasp their profundities and obtain one.    

However, Li Luo had clearly managed to do it. No matter how forced it was, the fact that he had produced a Light of Authority meant that even peak Triple Crowned Kings had to take him seriously.    

"This is unbelievable," Pang Qianyuan said with a sigh.    

Just a day ago, Li Luo was merely a sixth-grade Transcendent Duke. Although he could borrow the power of the Heavenly Dragon Formation to fight on equal terms with a true King Stage expert, he still lacked some firepower.    

No one would have guessed that in just the blink of an eye, he would truly enter the ranks of the Transcendent Dukes. He had even produced a supreme ninth-grade resonance while he was at it, activating the Light of Authority and overcoming the Five Devil Head Saturnine Hydra Devil King.    

Li Luo's preposterous growth left Pang Qianyuan at a loss for words. The brat who had come to him in a miserable state after being chased by the Three-tailed Heavenly Wolf had become one of the absolute apex existences of this world... surpassing him as well.    

Li Luo gave a modest smile. He was taken aback as well when he realized that he had managed to fuse his resonances to reach the supreme ninth-grade. Much of it had to do with the mystical Ten Divines Absolute Resonance Halo. Without it, he would not have succeeded.    

Thus, he could only sigh as the Absolute Resonance Seed was starting to reveal its splendor. It was no wonder the Sacred Void Resonance Sect was capable of dominating an era.    

"Principal Pang, the Saturnine Hydra Devil King has lost three of its heads, and its strength has declined significantly. It's not much stronger than you guys now. I'd like to invite the three of you to join hands and restrain it. I'll look to push the descending Eight Headed Other Dominion back," Li Luo said.    

Pang Qianyuan looked at the skies above the Xia Kingdom. The titanic spatial rift there was expanding, and the terrifying Greater Dominion was attempting to make its way to their world. It was large enough to envelop the entire Xia Kingdom.    

Once it fully descended, the entire Xia Kingdom would be captured, and the Saturnine Hydra Devil King would be able to appear in its true form. At that point in time, it would easily take control of the situation with its full Triple Crowned King strength.    

Even if Li Luo could use the Light of Authority one more time, it wouldn't have the same effect as before.    

"Alright." Pang Qianyuan knew that the situation was changing.    

The most troublesome issue at hand, the Saturnine Hydra Devil King, had been critically injured by Li Luo. Thus, this was the best chance they had to turn things around.    

The three Kings joined hands and went all-out, their Crowns overflowing with source origin energy as they launched their strongest attacks without hesitation at the two remaining heads.    

The remaining Devil Heads pulsed with dusky flames and summoned up a wave of corruption source origin that took the shape of a gigantic flaming skull that blocked the opposing side's attacks.    

"Once my true body descends, I'll ensure that all of the creatures of this land will be dragged into the Eight Head Hells, tormented by my flames for a thousand years!" the Saturnine Hydra Devil King said in a venomous tone, clearly infuriated by the change in situation.    

"You don't have to worry. When the opportunity arises, I'll enter the Shadow World and eradicate that Eight Headed Other Dominion of yours personally," Li Luo retorted indifferently.    

He didn't bother with the Saturnine Hydra Devil King after that. The Empyrean Resonance Tree of Authority between his brows turned blurrier. With the last bit of time remaining, the Transcendent Heavenly Throne rumbled and boundless source origin energy churned, falling on him like a waterfall.    

The Empyrean Resonance Tree of Authority swayed gently once again, and a beam of light shot up into the sky. The final ray of the Light of Authority was headed straight for the gargantuan spatial rift above.    

The Other Dominion was forced to slowly reverse, and the void cracks that resembled black holes gradually began to close up.    

Within Xia City, the First Princess and the rest of the crowd were watching on with trepidation. If the Other Dominion retreated, the spatial rift would close and the Xia Kingdom would have averted the catastrophe. The peace and tranquility they desired would once again cover this devastated land.    

They watched eagerly with bated breaths, hope blossoming in their eyes.    

The Devil King let out a furious bellow filled with resentment. It wanted to stop Li Luo, but it was being blocked by the three Kings. It no longer had the power to get past them. Thus, it was left with no choice but to stare powerlessly as the Eight Headed Other Dominion was pushed back to whence it came.    

The people in Xia City couldn't help but burst out in cheers.    

Li Luo closely observed the situation in the skies above. Even now, at the final moment, he didn't dare to relax. Would this disaster that plagued the Xia Kingdom for years come to an end now?    

"Wait, no!"    

Using his keen senses, he suddenly detected unknown energy emerging from between the heavens and the earth.    

Green smoke started to rise far away in the void. It quickly streamed into the sky and collided with the Light of Authority.    

When this happened, Li Luo could sense that the Light of Authority was being eroded and gradually fading away.    

As the Light of Authority weakened, the Eight Headed Other Dominion began to force its way down once again. Clearly, the Saturnine Hydra Devil King's true body was also taking action.    

"Who is that?" Li Luo's expression became gloomy.    

The Transcendent Heavenly Throne above him radiated sword energy, condensing the aura of the Myriad Resonances Dragon Fang Sword Formation. A strike was launched at the location in the void from which the green smoke originated.    

However, a dessicated and wizened hand imbued with dark green flames stretched out of the void. It gripped the sword energy and, with a casual motion, shattered it into motes of light that dissipated into thin air.    

That was when a hoarse laugh echoed out.    

"Hahaha... The mighty Saturnine Hydra Devil King has been forced into such a pitiful position by a few Single Crowned Kings. How laughable."    

A figure wrapped in dark green flames strode out of the void. He was holding a lit-up stick of green incense in his right hand—it was the source of the mysterious green smoke that had clashed with Li Luo's Light of Authority.    

The newcomer exuded a frightening aura, akin to a tsunami washing over the earth and drowning everyone. Even Li Luo's expression turned solemn upon sensing that aura.    

Only a Triple Crowned King could exert such an oppressive presence. No one else could have appeared at this critical juncture and disrupted their attempt to force the Other Dominion back.    

There was only one power in the ten divine continents that could send out someone on that level—the Origin Reversion Institute!    

Pang Qianyuan and Lan Lingzi trembled, and shock appeared in their eyes.    

"Watch out, Li Luo! That is the third seat of the Origin Reversion Institute's Underworld Kings! The Demonic Flame Underworld King!"
