The words struck a chord of alarm in the purple-haired youth. At Yuan Tian Lake's revelation, a wave of shock rippled through the gathered disciples, their expressions turning grave in an instant.

"I'm as in the dark as you are," Yuan Tian Chi replied, his voice tinged with astonishment. "Their power surpasses mine by far, rivaling that of the late Mahayana Realm. And their mastery of the Sword Dao is peculiarly unique. I suspect they may not even hail from an immortal cultivation civilization."    

The notion of someone outside the immortal cultivation civilizations was unfathomable. The disciples of the Chaos Yuan Sword Sect couldn't hide their shock at Yuan Tian Lake's revelation.
